The fire protection system encompasses a set of measures and actions for planning, financing, organizing, implementing, and controlling fire protection measures and actions, to prevent the outbreak and spread of fires, detect and extinguish fires, rescue people and property, protect the environment, identify and eliminate the causes of fires, as well as provide assistance in mitigating the consequences caused by fires.

Fire protection entities are required to act in accordance with the obligations established by the Fire Protection Act and regulations adopted based on it, apply fire and explosion protection measures prescribed by law, subordinate regulations, and general acts, ensure the implementation of fire protection plans and other documents, and are responsible for any activity that changes or may change the condition and circumstances of fire protection.

Fire protection prevention is ensured by planning and implementing preventive measures and actions in such a way as to efficiently prevent the outbreak of fires, and in the case of a fire outbreak, minimize the risk to life and health, reduce the threat to material goods, and protect the environment, limiting the fire to its point of origin.

Based on the Fire Protection Act and the Regulations on the Specific Conditions that Legal Entities Must Fulfill to Perform Fire Protection Organization Activities in Entities of the First, Second, and Third Categories of Fire Risk, SION GARD possesses the appropriate AUTHORIZATIONS (issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, SECTOR FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS) and is capable of offering the following services:

  • Organizing fire protection in entities classified in the first category of fire risk (with a technically equipped and trained fire brigade, with the required number of firefighters and equipment and devices for extinguishing fires).
  • Performing fire protection organization tasks in entities classified in the second and third categories of fire risk.

This, at the same time, means that SION GARD can:

  • To organize and implement preventive fire protection measures (for entities in the third category of fire risk).
  • To ensure an adequate number of professionally trained personnel to implement fire protection measures and provide continuous duty (for entities in the second category of fire risk).
  • To provide a technically equipped and trained fire brigade, with the required number of firefighters and the necessary equipment and devices for extinguishing fires (for entities in the first category of fire risk)
