


Preparation of disaster risk assessments and protection and rescue plans is a requirement under the Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management Law, 'Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia' No. 87/2018.
The disaster risk assessment identifies the type, nature, and origin of specific disaster risks, determines the degree of threat, factors that cause or increase the level of danger, and the potential consequences for human life and health, the environment, material and cultural goods, public services, and economic activities.
The protection and rescue plan contains the planned measures and activities for preventing and mitigating the consequences of disasters, as well as the organization of actions and engagement during emergency situations for the purpose of saving and protecting people, material, and cultural goods.
The disaster risk assessment is conducted by a legal entity that has the appropriate authorization.The expert team for preparing disaster risk assessments and the protection and rescue plan at PD SION GARD consists of competent professionals in various fields of activity who develop these documents based on the METHODOLOGY prescribed by the legal regulations in the field of emergency management.
The disaster risk assessment and the protection and rescue plan are periodically updated, in accordance with needs and new circumstances, and are completely redone and adopted every three years. However, if significant circumstances change earlier, or if a new risk arises or an existing risk increases or decreases, the plan is updated accordingly.
